How did The Coves Amphitheater come to be?

The Coves began hosting live music in 2020 to raise money for children in need, starting with intimate concerts on the front porch of The Coves Cabin.   To provide relief from the first year of the COVID pandemic, artists such as The Lonesome River Band, Junior Sisk, and sixteen-time Grammy Award Recipient Jerry Douglas played intimate and socially distant concerts on our open fields.

Building on the success of our initial season, The Coves Amphitheater was constructed. Since 2021, nationally known artists including Kenny G, Indigo Girls, Trampled by Turtles, Michael Franti, Gregory Alan Isakoff, and Bruce Hornsby have performed to enthusiastic crowds while helping us raise money for charity. In 2025, The Coves will continue to elevate the concert experience with an exciting and impressive lineup of top-tier performers.

How do charities benefit from these concerts?

Through the efforts and generosity of our volunteers, sponsors, and guests, The Coves Amphitheater Charity Partner Program has donated crucial operating funds to help our underserved neighbors, especially children, in desperate need of nutrition and healthcare support. Since its inception, The Coves Amphitheater has provided over $150,000 in direct support for our charities.
