Thanks to the dedication of our volunteers, sponsors, and guests, the Coves Amphitheater Charity Partner Program has provided essential funding to support underserved members of our community, especially children in need of nutrition and healthcare assistance. Since its inception, The Coves Amphitheater has contributed over $150,000 in direct support to these vital causes.

You can be part of our giving efforts by donating to our charity pool using the form below. If you prefer to give directly to a specific charity partner, their information is available on this page

Mission:
The Free Clinic of Franklin County, Inc. (at Bernard Healthcare Center) is a private, not-for-profit organization founded on the belief that everyone should have access to quality, affordable, primary health care — regardless of their socio-economic or insurance status.

Vision:
Our vision is to create a healthier community by improving our patients’ health through excellence in meeting their primary health care needs, disease prevention, and wellness promotion in the community.

Overview:
The FCFC provides primary health care to adult patients who are uninsured and whose income falls below 300% of the federal poverty guidelines.  FCFC offers a robust range of services including the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illness, physical examinations, laboratory testing, and referrals to specialists.  We do all this at low cost. For every dollar funded to the clinic, we provide more than $6.00 in services to our patients. The clinic also operates a pharmacy that dispenses medications at a significantly lower cost than retail pharmacies, typically charging only $3 per prescription including insulin.  Additionally, FCFC offers free telehealth for mental health counseling.

Special Mention:

Though our charity pool largely focuses on organizations who support the underprivileged by means of providing healthcare, nutrition, and resources for getting back on their feet, we also reserve a portion of our donations to support the Smith Mountain Arts Council, particularly the Martha Bowers Memorial SMAC Scholarship awarded to a college-bound local high school student pursuing a degree in the Arts.
