Music with a Mission

The Coves began as a small, porch-side concert series in the fall of 2020, created to raise money for children in need. Those early, intimate performances sparked the vision for what is now a state-of-the-art amphitheater overlooking Smith Mountain Lake and the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Thanks to the generosity of our volunteers, sponsors, and guests, the Coves Amphitheater Charity Partner Program has raised more than $150,000 for local charities through ticket sales, SkyBox rentals, pre-concert dinners, and donated bar tips.

Amphitheater Volunteers

The success of The Coves Amphitheater is owed in large part to the tireless efforts of our volunteer staff. From directing traffic to helping with concessions, the can-do spirit of this team elevates the experience for all in attendance, including the performers themselves.

If you’d like to join our volunteer staff, please fill out our contact form and our team will reach out to you with more information.
