Solar Arrays
The Club has pre-emptively installed 80kw of Solar Panels in two separate arrays on open space land to serve community homes whose lot topography and tree cover would make solar power a challenge. We have solar panel and inverter capacity to zero out the average power bills of 10 homes in The Coves through “net metering” with AEP. These solar arrays were built so that groups of panels can be connected to inverters, battery walls, and smart power meters (from AEP) installed on Coves homes that want to take advantage of modern solar technology.
