One of the best things about The Coves amphitheater is the variety of performers that play here.
The award-winning folk trio, The Wailin’ Jennys will take the stage at The Coves Amphitheater on Sunday April, 23.
What began as a happy accident of solo singers and songwriters getting together for a one-time performance at a tiny guitar shop in Winnipeg, Manitoba, has grown into one of today’s most beloved international folk acts. Founding members Moody and Mehta, along with New York-based Masse, continue to create some of the best music on the folk-roots scene.
Since the band’s inception in 2004, The Wailin’ Jennys have won numerous awards for their work, including the Juno Award (Canadian Grammy), as well as a Folk Alliance Award for Contemporary Release of the Year.
The group’s 2006 album, “Firecracker” spent more than 56 weeks on the Billboard charts. Known for their signature vocal harmonies, the group also performs in the genre of alt-country, pop and rock.
The Wailin’ Jennys perform Sunday April, 23 at The Coves. Gates open at 5 p.m., and tickets are available for Field, Gold and Premium seating at https://www.seetickets.us/event/The-Wailin-Jennys/510301.
